Information Services
Based in The Basement of the Registry Office at Tower Hill in Haverfordwest, the Information Centre offers level access for wheelchair users and parking within easy reach of the Centre.
The centre offers opportunities for volunteering, training for work as well as acting as a public centre for the provision of information. We also have internet facilities and can make searches for information for clients. A form filling service is also available by appointment. We all know how daunting it can be to receive one of those disability benefits forms to fill in. Don't be put off, call us, we can help. We can come out to see you at home if you are unable to come into see us
The Centre carries information on various subjects including holidays, local attractions, benefits, various types of equipment and staff will find information on any subject requested by using telephone, internet and other local organisations. You can contact us on 01437 760665 or e-mail us at pippapembs@btconnect.com.
What else do we do?
The Information Service writes three newsletters a year, the PIPPA post, which you can find in our News section. It's a collection of news and information about disability and services, plus what PIPPA's been doing recently, puzzles, recipes, and general fun. Please give us a call or drop us an e-mail if you'd like to receive the PIPPA post - we can send it by e-mail or as a paper copy (e-mail is preferred).
We're currently building up an Equipment Directory of other organisations in Pembrokeshire which hire or loan equipment we do not supply, so you know where else you can look besides us. Let us know if there is somebody we haven't included who you've found useful!
